Ballet for the discipline, structure, physicality, grace and elegance 🩰

What is/are your favourite thing(s) to do when you're not dancing?
Aerial silks 🤸‍♀️, reading📖, traveling 🧳and hanging out with the family (although my 11 and 13 year old daughters may not say the same!)

In our twelfth season, we reflect on the many changes we have observed in the world since our first show in 2011. Our inaugural show, Temporada, explored the four seasons as a means to depict the seasons of life. Today, our choreographers present to the stage an exploration of physical transformation, such as the evolution of a caterpillar into a butterfly or the aging process of a human being.

Through dynamic movements, they can convey the essence of change, from subtle shifts to dramatic motions. Choreographers may also delve into the realm of emotional or spiritual growth, portraying inner transformations and personal journeys, incorporating elements of symbolism, abstraction, and narrative.

Metamorphosis is a rich tapestry of movement, inviting the audience to reflect on their own experiences of change and growth. Metamorphosis will transport the audience through a kaleidoscope of movements and emotions, witnessing the beauty and complexity of metamorphosis expressed through the universal language of dance.
